The N.G.D tapered pipe coupling is a clamped pipe
connector, used to join pipe sections in a medium to high-pressure water
systems. The coupling is designed in accordance with ASME BPV code,
Section VIII, Appendix 24 and ASME B31.3. The coupling has many advantages
compared to the flanges, of which few are listed below.

Lower cost.

Smaller physical dimensions.

Greater angular and axial misalignment of the jointed
pipes.

The pressure-assisted seals ensure drip tight joint,
especially under water hammer conditions.

Faster installation and replacement of vertical,
incline and horizontal pipes.

Standard joint for each pipe size, irrespective of the
pressure rating.
