GENERAL DESCRIPTION (Back to Top)

The N.G.D bypass control valve is a piston type, hydrostatically balanced, and designed to automatically discharge water from a pump station main, when the station flow rate decreases. The actuation of the valve is pneumatically or hydraulically and the valve is piloted by a signal from a flow transmitter at the pump station suction.

APPLICATIONS (Back to Top)

The N.G.D bypass control valve is installed between the pump station main and the station's reservoir. The valve automatically discharges water from a pump station main when the station flow rate decreases and reduces safely the station high pressure at a predetermined flow rate.
