- The N.G.D valves do not require an external actuator, as the
valve's piston itself is a simple and powerful pneumatic/hydraulic
actuator.
- Handwheel and electrically actuated valves do not require the
torque assistance of a gearbox.
- The valve's piston serves as the control pilot for all of the
line-actuated safety and control valves with less vulnerability to
precipitation or the build-up of corrosion products.
- All of the N.G.D safety and control valves can be used as a
conventional or I/P actuated control valves by utilising
conventional transmitters, switches and controllers.
- All of the self-powered N.G.D safety and control valves are not
